“ My sons and I have wanted to come here for a while, and this week finally provided us with the perfect opportunity. We were early for our reservation but still seated right away. The service was as amazing as the food! Two of us had the chicken parm and my other son had the filet mignon. Be sure to save room for dessert too because it's spectacular! “ Every time my husband, kids and I go to Basta we have a wonderful experience with great food. Tonight, our server Callie went above and beyond! I brought my toddler, 3, and my 1 year old daughter. She brought colored pencils and a notebook from her car for my daughter to use. Also brought her a complimentary chocolate ice cream with a sparkler! These are just two of the amazing things she did for us. There was many more and we’re so thankful for Callie. The food and atmosphere was wonderful as always! ”

“ From the start, the bread and oil had an incredible depth of flavor. The oil itself is extra virgin with hints of garlic. The entree itself was cooked perfectly. The lobster was incredibly tender while the pasta was well balanced in flavor and firmness. All in all this was an excellent meal and paired well with a Sauvignon Blanc. ”

“ Our party of 4 made a last minute reservations for 8:45pm the day of after going out to Nantucket for the day. It was a chilly and rainy day and we were desperate for a warm meal! We got to BASTA around 8:30 and were met at the door by a couple of very disgruntled patrons, upset about their service, attempting to convince us leave and go somewhere else to eat. As tourists in the area we were immediately worried that we would have the same experience, but when we looked around and spoke to the hostess everyone else in the restaurant seemed happy and the food on the tables looked amazing, so we took a chance. We are so glad we did. Our server was incredible, within 10 minutes of being sat, we had our waters, cocktails and then a bit later appetizers. (The Strawberry Bruschetta is to die for). Our entrees came later based off recommendations from our terrific server; along with the manager checking in with us regarding the experience we had at the door. He was kind and genuine about explaining that the experience we had was rare and how sorry he felt that we were mislead like that. He later brought us complimentary limoncello shots for the table as an apology. We stuck around even longer to indulge in dessert, you have to get the Butter Cake. Overall we had a fantastic meal, there wasn’t a single bite that we took that wasn’t heavenly, and a fantastic time dining at BASTA. The meal was literally worth writing home about, as we called our families to gloat about the experience on the drive back. I would recommend dining here to anyone I know. ”

“ This was our 1st time being at Basta, we absolutely loved it. We came to celebrate my husband's birthday, Basta didn't disappoint. I had their strip steak special which came with herb potatoes as well as roasted baby corn. The steak was cooked to perfection as you can see in the pictures below. The birthday boy had the veal chop. He ate the whole thing which says alot. Our server was great and attentive and made my husband fill so special on his day. Thanks Basta.
